A little bit about me….

I graduated from uni about 11 years ago with a bachelor of Education degree.  I am the mother of twoGorgeous children, married to a kiwi from Canterbury, a lover of everything turquoise, may have an online shopping addiction due to living out in the country, love warm weather, the beach, glitter, dining out (can’t remember the last time I did this), and catching up with friends.

Photography is my love (obviously besides my family) – anything that can keep my attention for going on 7 years now has to be special. You can guarantee I am constantly taking in everything there is to learn, in order to make your portraits amazing, striving constantly to give you the best experience possible, and always thinking of how I would feel in your shoes so that I can really give you the best of everything I have to give.

I am available to travel and I can’t wait to work with you!

A LITTLE ABOUT A SESSION WITH ME…

This journey through photography has taught me a lot…A lot about life, and a lot about how all of the moments of our past lead us to this very moment we are in right now.  While today it might mean nothing, tomorrow it might mean your whole world can change. So these are the moments that matter, the same moments we forget all too soon but wish we could remember forever!  These are the moments I want to capture for you!  Whether it be that gummy 6 month old grin, or the quiet stillness of your first born and all of the parts and pieces you have been waiting so long to see…or maybe it’s the not-so-quiet stillness of your 2 year old running through a pile of leaves!  Or maybe it’s her love for princesses and fairy tales you want captured or his incredible imagination!

No matter what it is we will find it, we will capture it and we will laugh a whole lot doing it because no session with me is anything close to posed, serious or quiet…ummm helloooo the kids run the show!  You see, the thing is, these truly are the in’s and out’s of our everydays and these little things, these little moments…well..they are simply what makes us who we are and when patched together these moments make up the story of our lives!
